Thank You Stater Bros!
Stater Bros. Charities provides funding to over 100 food banks and self-help organizations in Southern California. As part of this, Stater Bros. Charities will be donating over $450,000 to local non-profit organizations this holiday season as part of their “Harvesting Hope in Our Community” campaign. As part of this generosity, the Frazee Community Center has recently been awarded a grant from Stater Bros. Charities. Thank you so much Stater Bros. for supporting our organization and efforts!
Thank You Home Depot!
Within a span of just five days, from August 19 to August 23, an amazing event occurred at the two veterans homes that are operated by the Frazee Community Center. As a result of a grant request submitted by the Center, the Home Depot graciously donated $12,500 to the Center for the renovation of these two homes. Virgie Flores of Home Depot Store 683 (1055 W 21st Street in San Bernardino) was the driving force behind the project and spent many hours of her own time on the planning and preparation. The most amazing part was seeing the countless number of Home Depot employees show up at these two homes to volunteer their own time to get the work done. Many badly needed improvements were accomplished.
The Frazee Community Center and the 13 veterans that reside at these two homes would like to thank the Home Depot for their kind generosity. They were wonderful people to work with and the Home Depot's goal of helping veterans around the country was definitely accomplished with this project. Once again, thank you Virgie for all of your hard work.
